    Lois Lorene Dyer, 75, Centerview, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 1998, at her residence. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at Williams Funeral Chapel, Warrensburg, with the Rev. Bill Runyon officiating; burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Contributions may be made to Twin Lakes Hospice c/o Williams Funeral Chapel, 1400 S.Hwy. 13, Warrensburg, MO 64093. Lois was born April 19, 1923, in Odessa, MO, to Walter Bryan and Jessie Blanche (Keenan)Alkire. She had lived in the Holden and Centerview communities for most of her life. She graduated from College High School, Warrensburg, MO, in 1941. She was a homemaker, farm wife, and a member of the Church of Hope, Centerview, and the Centerview Community Social Hour. She married Nolan Dyer on March 22, 1941, in Odessa; he survives of the home. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karen Denise Dyer; great-granddaughter, Melissa Jeanette Atkinson; sister, Mildred Faye Heller; and brother, Omar Bryan Alkire. She is also survived by three daughters, Brenda Dyer Atkinson and her husband, Jerry, Kingsville, MO, Anita Dyer Lamb and her husband, Lynn, Warrensburg, MO, and Wanda Dyer Antrim and her husband, Herbert, Lee's Summit, MO; four sons, Darrel Dyer and his wife, Jewel, Lee's Summit, MO, Douglas Dyer, Clinton, MO, and Delbert Dyer and David Dyer and his wife, Rita, all of Centerview, MO; 14 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 13 step-greatgrandchildren; and one step-great-greatgranddaughter. Lois helped raise and was a great influence on the lives of Mark Duggar, Robert Hilke, Paul Dillon, Jim Potter, and Robert Arms.2
