    Taulbee Sargent, age 90, 954 Blaze Rd, West Liberty, Ky., passed away Thursday in the Life Care Center, Morehead, Ky., after an extended illness.

    He was born April 27, 1922, at Blaze, Ky., son of the late Ollie and Virgie Lewis Sargent.

    He was retired from General Motors and served in the Navy during W.W.II. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.

    Besides, his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mattie Davidson, Sonia Peyton, Jacquelynn Maiuri and Valda Underwood and three brothers, McCoy Sergent, Norcross Sargent and Recil Sargent.

    Surviving is his former wife of 42 years, Reva Black of Lexington, Ky., two daughters, Judy Udis of Lexington, Ky., Deborah Sargent White and husband Christopher, three grandchildren, Alex Udis, Dustin White and Eric White., one sister, Vernetta Everett of Port St.John, Florida, one brother, Earl Sargent of Gross Point, Michigan.

    Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29,2012, at the Blaze Community Church, with Bro. Vernon Lewis officiating. Burial in the Lewis & Bishop Cemetery, Blaze, Ky. Military graveside rites conducted by Morgan Co.D.A.V.Chapter # 132.

    Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Blaze Community Church, Blaze, Ky.

    She was born February 22, 1917, at Blaze, Ky., daughter of the late Ollie Sargent and Virgie Lewis Sargent.

    She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a secretary in the government offices.

    She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emory Clevenger, and her second husband, Jess L. Underwood, and two sons, Nathaniel Jackson Clevenger I., and Emory Lee Clevenger II., and three sisters, Mattie Davidson, Sonia Peyton, Jacquelynn Maiuri, and three brothers, McCoy Sergent, Norcross Sargent and Recil Sargent.

    Surviving is two daughters, Virginia Nancarvis of West Liberty, Ky., Alice Cottrell-Acri of Port St.John, FL., one son, David Clevenger of Port St. John, FL., one sister, Vernetta Everett of Port St. John, FL., two brothers, Taulbee Sargent of West Liberty, Ky., Earl Sargent of Michigan, numerous grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

    Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Herald & Stewart & Hasley Chapel, with Rev. Timothy David Sargent officiating. Burial in the Lewis & Bishop Cemetery, Blaze, Ky.
