    Saratoga Springs - Catherine Mabb, formerly of Russell Street, Saratoga Springs, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005. She was 86 years old.

    Born Feb. 5, 1919, in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Edward Wren and Leucinda Vanderbilt Wren.

    She worked for many years as a cleaning person for many people in the Saratoga area.

    She was predeceased by four sisters, Emma Wren, Jen Cicero, May Orten and Daisy Traver, and one brother, Ernie Wren.

    Catherine is survived by three sons, Jerry Carpenter and Dennis Carpenter of Saratoga Springs and Charles Carpenter of Burlington, Vt; one daughter, Bonnie Mabb of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Christopher Mabb, Jerry Carpenter Jr. and Kayla Carpenter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Services are private.

    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will be at the Maplewood Cemetery, Wilton.
