Cantrell Jr. of Milan; five sisters, Juanita Pafford, Geneva Reynolds, Melba Sue Crocker, Billie Marie Tharp and Clara Ruth Bramley, all of Milan; a brother, John Wesley Oliver of Lake Worth, FL, a granddaughter Alison Leigh Bell, Jonesboro, AR and two great - grandchildren Rachel Leigh Bell & William Daniel Bell both of Jonesboro, AR. She was preceded in death by two sisters Jesse Jo White and Martha Ellen McNabb. The family requests that memorials be sent to Oakwood Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.

    Gladys Sue Puckett, formerly Gladys Sue Davenport, of Phoenix, Az. passed away December 22, 2010 at the age of 95. Sue was the 2nd youngest of two brothers and two sisters. She was born in Gibson, Tenn. and raised in a farming family. After the death of her husband, Theotis, and her son, Sidney, she became a cosmetologist and a businesswoman. She opened a Beauty Salon in Milan, Tenn. and later moved it to Nashville, Tenn. in 1951, when she remarried. Her customers loved her because she was always a caring and generous owner. She retired in 1981 and moved to Phoenix, Az. to be close to her family. She enjoyed being a very loving and active grandmother that the boys called "MaMa Two." She played and loved sports all her life and was a big Phoenix Suns fan. She was a member of North Phoenix Baptist Church. She is survived by her son David Davenport and his wife Rita, grandsons Michael and Scott, and great granddaughter Reese. Services will be held 11AM in her hometown of Milan, Tenn. on January 11, in the chapel at Bodkin Funeral Home, 2000 S 1st St.
