    Virginia J. Barker, 81, of Trezevant, died Wednesday, October 28, at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.

    Services were held on Sunday, November 7, at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant. Rev. Paul Merwin officiated. Burial followed in Union Academy Cemetery near McKenzie.

    Mrs. Barker was born May 16, 1917, in Bradford, to the late William Thomas Johns and Annie Emma Cantrell. She was a homemaker. She was married to John Issac Barker, who preceded her in death.

    She is survived by a daughter, Carol Kinkle of Miami, Florida; a sister, Lois Allen of Milan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.2
