    Ova (Doris) Bing, 75, Smithville resident and DeKalb County native Ova (Doris) Bing died Aug. 15 at her residence. A retired teacher with the Warren County School System and a member of First Baptist Church, Smithville, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Ova Summers Bing; and was preceded in death by her brother, Dub Bing; and sister Bertie Gill. She is survived by her sisters, Jessie Smith of Maryland, and Billy Robinson and Betty Smith, both of Smithville; and several nieces and nephews.Services were held yesterday at Love-Cantrell Chapel in Smithville with Bill Palmiter officiating. Burial followed at Town Cemetery. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
