    Thomas M. Martin
    Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p. m. at the Carroll funeral home, Gresham, for Thomas M. Martin of 11045 S.E. Holgate boulevard, who died Friday after a two-month illness. Rev. Lowell Powers, pastor of Lynch Baptist church, will officiate. The services will be followed by vault interment at Lincoln Memorial cemetery.

    Mr. Martin was born in Denmark October 21, 1884. He came to San Francisco in 1904 and to Portland in 1919. He lived at St. Helens and Prescott, Or. before coming to Portland where he was a lumber inspector for the Dwyer Lumber company until his last illness. He was a member of the Lutheran church and of the AFL Lumber and Sawmill workers union.

    Survivors include the widow, C. Mildred Martin of Portland; two sons; Maurice Alva Martin of Portland and Howard Martin of Hollywood, Cal; two daughters, Mrs. Nora Lou Martin Janik or Portland and Mrs. Louise Hammett of Veronia, Or.
