    Lorene Royal, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was born June 14, 1921 in Flippin, Arkansas, died August 8, 2002 in Pasadena, Texas at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Royal graduated from Central College in Conway, Arkansas and continued her education at the University of Houston studying special education. Her many jobs included housewife, mother, substitute teacher, office manager and secretary. She was a devoted servant of God and attended church at Watters Road Church of Christ. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents Silas and Etta Lemon, 3 brothers- Claude, Cecil, and Chester Lemon, Charlie Estes, husband and father to her children, husband Joe McGraw, husband Sam Stillman, son-in-law Layne Connevey, granddaughter Karina Spradling, and step-grandson Jay Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband Earl Royal, her brother Clarence (Veta) Lemon, her sister Loretta (Aubrey) Barrett, her sister-in-law Emily (Richard) Armstrong, 3 children - Victor (Brenda) Estes, Sylvia (Don) Spradling, David (Marie) Estes, 7 grandchidren - Steven (Christie) Estes, Danny (Angie) Estes, Kendra (Tim) Locklear, Kevin Spradling, Kristin (Andy) Lively, Charlie (Carol) Estes, Staci Estes. 4 great-grandchildren- Alyssa and Alaina Estes, Savannah and Megan Lively, step-children- JoJean (Chaney) Anderson, Ben (Mary) Royal, Glenn (Diane) Royal, step-grandchildren - Jeff Anderson and Stephen Royal and many loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 10, 2002 at 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale Houston, Tx . Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday August 11, 2002 at Watters Road Church of Christ, 3616 Watters Rd., Pasadena, 77502. Interment will be in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
